Final Notice of Intent to Levy

If you have received the form letter 11, “Final Notice of Intent to Levy” from the IRS, this means that the Internal Revenue Service is about to place an IRS Wage Levy on one or more of your assets. Call us for information about an IRS Levy Release

This is the final warning before such action takes place, due to your unpaid balance for one or more tax periods. It is basically a warning that they have been conducting a thorough search of your assets, to see exactly how much they can collect.  If a Federal Tax Lien has not already been filed, then this notice may also inform you that this will be taking place as well. This letter does not mean that you have no options to put a stop to this IRS Levy. From the date the letter was printed you will have thirty days to pay your balance.
